Modelled in a seated pose, the figures are finished in a soft cream crackle glaze with hand painted facial features and red ribbon collars. Both cats stand on square bases decorated with stylised green grass and a geometric border in blue and ochre tones. The modelling, palette and glaze are typical of decorative post war ceramics
