It threads directly onto a shaft and locks through a heat stabilized polymer locking ring that generates prevailing torque, keeping the assembly secure against vibration, shock, and torque without damaging the shaft threads. The integral locking ring eliminates the traditional locknut and lockwasher pairing as well as the
