Vintage Hand-Carved Horn Bird – Sculptural African Horn Ornament (c.20th Century) toy trailer including eleven for Punch MagazineA striking hand carved bird sculpture fashioned entirely from natural horn. The artist has carved the bird and its flowing perch from a single piece of horn, making full use of the materials natural curvature and tonal variation. The surface shows beautiful organic striations in shades of deep charcoal, grey and cream all inherent to genuine horn. At 18 cm tall, this is a characterful decorative object with a wonderfully tactile finish. Likely of
